On 22nd of April EveryChild Ukraine had a meeting with Ms. Agneta Berliner - member of Liberal People's Party of the Swedish Parliament, who recently visited Ukraine to witness country's efforts in reformation of childcare system.

The main objective of Ms. Berliners's  visit was to advocate for children's rights in Ukraine.

With EveryChild Ukraine Country Director Volodymyr Kuzminskyy, Ms. Berliner discussed main problems faced by the children and women in Ukraine and identified obstacles hindering the development of effective social protection mechanisms for this most vulnerable part of the community.

The meeting with EveryChild Ukraine highlighted a few pressing issues concerning children, among them domestic violence and child abuse, HIV/AIDS and children, gender equality.
