New project on development of the social services for children and families at risk during 2007-2010 has been discussed
On March 22, 2007 under support of the Finnish Embassy in Ukraine the round table took place on discussion of the new project “Support to the Development of Social Services for Children and Families at Risk in Ukraine 2007-2010”. The purpose of the round table is to present the project and to discuss it with all the stakeholders in order to prepare final project proposal.There were high level governmental and local authorities’ representatives among the participants: Mrs. Svitlana TOLSTOUKHOVA, Deputy Minister for Family, Youth and Sport, Mr. Volodymyr VOVK, Acting Director of the State Social Services for Children, Family and Youth, Mr Valeriy KONDRUK, Vice Governor of Kyiv Oblast as well as partner non-governmental Ukrainian and international organizations and institutions.The project was prepared by STAKES (The National Research and Development Centre for Welfare and Health), Finland in partnership with EveryChild Ukraine and will be submitted for funding from Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
