Towards a Better Future for Ukraine’s Children
On Sunday 2nd September 2007 the British Ambassador Mr. Tim Barrow and his wife Ms. Alison Watts will host a Back-to-School-Barbeque in support of EveryChild Ukraine. Among those expected to attend are celebrities from the entertainment and sports world as well as politicians, successful local and international business representatives and their families.
The event aims to raise awareness of the problem of institutional care for children in Ukraine and is also an opportunity to learn more about the work of Everychild in Ukraine and worldwide.
During this informal occasion guests will be also be invited to view the photo exhibition ‘Towards a Better Future for Ukraine’s Children’, which will subsequently be on display at the British Council (4/12 Hryhoriya Skovorody Kyiv 04070) 3-8 September inclusive.
