    Protecting rights of abandoned children

In the framework of the project “Prevention of Child Abandonment” funded by World Childhood Foundation, Everychild Ukraine plans to enhance local capacity by training health and pedagogical professionals and partners with local residential care institutions (baby homes) in  Boyarka and Bila Tserkva cities of Kyiv region.

During intensive trainings, which will take place in March, participants will develop new competences to identify, prevent and intercede child abandonment cases in order to protect children’s rights. Professionals will concentrate on assessment of children and family needs, individual plans for children, reintegration and family care efforts.
