EveryChild's Development Director visits Ukraine
On the 23rd-27th of June EveryChild's Development Director (E.Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia) - Amanda Griffith visits Ukraine to make a series of discussions on on-going projects, strategic development and localisation of organisation.
Mrs.Griffith will meet with key partners - Tetyana Kondatyuk, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Ukraine for Family, Youth and Sports, Volodymyr Vovk - First Deputy Director of State Social Services for Family, Children and Youth, Sergiy Andriyash - Head for Service for Children of Kyiv oblast, Lyudmyla Nikolayenko - Director of Kyiv Oblast Centre of Social Services.Moreover, Mrs. Griffith plans to meet with representatives of Kyiv regional state administration - Valeriy Kondruk, Deputy Governor of Kyiv oblast, Viktor Antonenko - Mayor of the city of Brovary.
EveryChild's Development Director will visit Chernigiv regional mother and baby unit "Parents and Children together", regional baby home in Bila Tserkva, specialised social services, functioning in Kyiv region (Brovary), have a discussion with Chief Paediatrician of Kyiv oblast.
Programme of the visit contains also meetings with partner organisations, working in Ukraine - Svitlana Tolstoukhova, President of Ukrainian League of Social Workers, and Andriy Haydamashko, Child Protection Officer of UNICEF office in Ukraine.
In general, visit of EveryChild's Development Director (E.Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia) is concentrated around the progress that have been reached by the organisation in solving problems connected with children in Ukraine, further perspectives and areas of work in children'rights protection.
