The Big Picture: Child Labour
12 June is World Day Against Child Labour, an international day aimed at eliminating child labour, organised by the International Labour Organisation (ILO)
14 year old Onani is employed as a cattle herder. He works from 7am until 4pm 7 days a week and sleeps in a small hut close to the cattle to ensure no-one steals them. In Malawi over a quarter of all children aged 5-14 work, mostly in agriculture.
